save your life. A LifeHike.
2) A group which hosts an event of the same name.

Thank you for your interest
in LifeHike. This is the first year for LifeHike and we are all
extremely excited. We are particularly optimistic about this years
hike, "A Walk in Virginia" and hope you find our mission worthy of
note. Again, we thank you for coming.
Our mission
at LifeHike is to assist not-for-profit organizations who's primary
goal is to inform the public of often overlooked health concerns. We
favor those organizations that demonstrate a proactive approach to
physical wellness, disease prevention and a better way of life.
LifeHike supports organizations indirectly; we are not interested in
your money, nor do we try to raise a certain dollar amount. Our goal
is to make you aware of these organizations so you can judge them
according to their merits.
The idea
and need for a LifeHike came to me a few months ago as I sat in a
field Indian-style blowing on a blade of grass. The mention of an
extended hiking trip was fresh in my mind from a conversation I had
had the day before. Combine this thought with a long overwhelming
sensation that we are all very much alive, but at the same time,
introduce an eerie feeling that at that very moment we are all
dying, some slower than others. LifeHike was born soon after.
